Located just outside Loop 1604 and Bandera Road in Northwest San Antonio is the City of Helotes, a unique community that maintains its small town tranquility and family-oriented activities and is the location for Helotes Masonic Lodge.
Chartered in 1974, Helotes #1429 is more than just a lodge; it is the home for the Helotes Masonic Family and is a living culmination of the efforts of many individuals who had a vision for Helotes Masons.
The Helotes Masonic Family is the embodiment of Masonic ideals, and consists of four separate organizations working together to serve the community: Helotes Masonic Lodge #1429; Adah Chapter #xxx, Order of the Eastern Star; Helotes Rainbow Assemby #xxx; and Helotes York Rite Chapter #444 and Council #362.
Each year Helotes Lodge and Adah Chapter, OES award scholarships to college-bound high school seniors from one of the four Northside ISD high schools in the area. Helotes York Rite will begin awarding a similar scholarship in May 2015 to high school seniors desiring to enter a craft or trade school.
The Adah Chapter, OES meets the first
and third Tuesdays of the month.
Rainbow Assembly meetings are the first
and third Wednesdays of the month.
Chapter Convocations are the second Wednesday. Council Assemblies are the fourth Wednesday.
